Where my passion for SEO began
I started my journey back in 2022, right before the AI boom - when search was slightly more simple. At first, I was set on search marketing as a whole, but soon decided to set my sole focus on SEO. Since then, I've worked for two reputable marketing agencies as an SEO specialist, single-handedly auditing, developing, and managing SEO strategies.
In early 2024, I took on my first freelance SEO clients, both of whom had bad experiences with SEO providers. Working closely with them, I completely transformed their organic search presence - and that's where Search Mad began.
I'm passionate about the work I do, and position myself as an SEO consultant in Lincoln that UK businesses can trust.

How much do you charge for SEO?
My SEO consultant services are priced by the hour, with rates varying depending on the type of work and the scale of the project. I charge between ÂŁ40 - ÂŁ65 an hour, working to agreed monthly hours for retainers and on a project basis for ad hoc support.

I have all-round SEO experience, having developed and managed strategies for many businesses across the UK, including in Lincoln, Peterborough, Nottingham. Whether it’s ongoing management, auditing, or consultancy, I’m here to help with all your SEO needs.
How long does SEO take?
SEO is considered a long-term marketing strategy, so no results should be expected overnight. Budget, competition levels, goals, previous efforts, amongst many other factors can influence how long it’ll take - you could see results start to roll in as little as 3-6 months, but it could take a lot longer!
Will results take longer working with an SEO consultant?
No, working with an SEO consultant will not make results take longer. SEO as a whole is a long-term marketing strategy, and on average, results can take between 3-6 months to show. Each project is different, so it may take longer or less time. Working with me, you'll be kept updated at every stage as to the results we're seeing, with transparency into where we expect to see a real difference being made.
Are you 100% independent?
Yes, I'm 100% independent. In the Search Mad team, it's currently just me, though I do work with my trusted connections to deliver strategies on a larger scale.
